Not too long ago Delilah had the privilege of talking with Sarah McLachlan, whose songs are among the most requested on the show each night. Sarah talked about the many changes in her life since organizing and performing with Lillith Fair. Since the birth of her daughter India, Sarah said her perspective on life and music was totally changed. In fact, Sarah said it was a little difficult to resume writing music after spending so many precious moments with her baby. Her latest album, “Afterglow,” is a collection of songs mostly from Sarah’s life of seven or eight years ago; she admitted it may take a couple years for her to share the experience of motherhood through her songs. Sarah is currently touring North America in support of “Afterglow” and will take her family on the road with her.
